Notice on New Dormitory Construction Schedule

The construction of the new dormitory is scheduled to begin at the end of June 2025, and significant inconvenience is expected for dormitory residents. In particular, loud construction noise, equipment operation, and vibrations may occur during the construction period. Students currently residing in or planning to move into the International Dormitory and Ilshin Hall are advised to take note and exercise extra caution to prevent any safety accidents.

1. Overall Construction Period (Planned): Late June 2025 – Late May 2027

  *The schedule is subject to change depending on site conditions.

2. Construction Hours (Planned): 07:00 – 19:00

  *Working hours may be adjusted based on construction needs.

3. Location: East side of the Ilshin Hall building

4. Requests for Cooperation

 a. Construction Vehicle Movement and Safety

  Frequent movement of construction vehicles and heavy equipment is expected. Please use sidewalks when walking near the construction area.

 b. Restricted Access to Gwanggyo Jungang Station Walkway

  The walkway road in front of Ilshin Hall leading to Gwanggyo Jungang Station will be closed during the construction period.

 c. Closure of Temporary Parking Lot (North of Dasan Hall)

  The temporary parking area north of Dasan Hall will be closed as it falls within the construction site.

 d. Construction Noise and Parking Restrictions

  Severe equipment noise, dust, and vibrations are expected during the construction period. In addition, the use of parking spaces around Ilshin Hall may be partially restricted due to the movement of construction vehicles.

*When parking, please leave an emergency contact number clearly visible inside your vehicle. Illegal parking and long-term parking are strictly prohibited.
(Long-term parking should be done at the temporary parking lot in front of Ilshin Hall.)

 e. Admission Guidelines

  Students who wish to move into the International Dormitory or Ilshin Hall must carefully review the above information before applying. Room changes will not be permitted after move-in.
