2025 Dormitory Fire Safety Equipment Inspection

In accordance with Article 22 of the Fire Services Act (Self-Inspection of Fire Safety Facilities), the 2025 Fire Safety Equipment Inspection will be conducted as follows. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

1. Inspection Details

Check the operating status of the fire alarm control panel in each building and perform zone circuit tests

Functional test of automatic fire detectors (smoke/heat detectors) in rooms, sections, and common areas

Functional test of floor alarms, emergency broadcast systems, and sirens

Visual inspection of evacuation equipment (emergency lights, fire escape kits, etc.)

Test of indoor fire hydrants, sprinkler pumps, and gas suppression systems

Test of fire doors (automatic closing devices) and fire shutters in case of alarm activation

Complete inspection of all dormitory fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment on campus

2. Inspection Period

July 8 (Tue) – July 11 (Fri), 2025

3. Buildings and Schedule

• July 8 (Tue): Namje Hall, Yongji Hall, Cafeteria Building
• July 9 (Wed): Hwahoong Hall, Gwanggyo Hall
• July 10 (Thu): International Dormitory
• July 11 (Fri): Ilsin Hall

Note: The schedule is subject to change depending on inspection conditions.

4. Additional Information

All dormitory rooms and facilities will be inspected. Please be aware that fire alarms may sound and fire shutters may temporarily open during the inspection. Your understanding is appreciated.

If a room is locked and the resident is absent, inspectors may enter the room using the master key without prior notice. In some cases, locked rooms may be opened for inspection. We ask for your kind understanding regarding any inconvenience this may cause.
